- I studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. I primarily work with oil and acrylic, enjoying the vibrancy and texture of the colors. I also paint with Chinese watercolor and ink, watching the colors flow and mingle freely to create wonderful imageries. Inspiration for my work comes from a deeply felt connection with nature, the interplay of colors and shapes of objects around me. Color, light, and shadow, which fascinate me the most, get me going in a creative pursuit. For ten years now, I have conducted art lessons for young people. I love to share what I know with the students through classes and workshops. I hope I can share with the viewer the same beauty and feeling painting has brought me.

ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, Jane. The work is really stunning! It's so delicate and the colors are really very pleasant. Cold colors and warm ones are combined very well in this work. Moreover, the trees are very carefully painted.
