- I studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. I primarily work with oil and acrylic, enjoying the vibrancy and texture of the colors. I also paint with Chinese watercolor and ink, watching the colors flow and mingle freely to create wonderful imageries. Inspiration for my work comes from a deeply felt connection with nature, the interplay of colors and shapes of objects around me. Color, light, and shadow, which fascinate me the most, get me going in a creative pursuit. For ten years now, I have conducted art lessons for young people. I love to share what I know with the students through classes and workshops. I hope I can share with the viewer the same beauty and feeling painting has brought me.
